Loneliness - Thought About It?

Are you lonely? Do you have feelings of loneliness...even at times? If yes, have you investigated those feelings? Or are you to fearful of them? Are you afraid if you ponder lonely feelings you will discover something terrible about yourself that you did not know previously? I suppose such a discovery is possible, but I promise you it is HIGHLY unlikely!

The problems really is that to ponder about such negative feelings could arouse much sadness. But on the other hand, if you take the positive view and ponder loneliness in order to find out from where such feeling come, you will likely discover some opportunities for strength to overcome sad feelings. Think about it.

Loneliness - I Have Thought About It

I think this blog is suffering from loneliness because I have not posted for a long time!!! :-)

I know a person who is afraid to think about his emotional issues, including loneliness. He fears that if he thinks about them, they will automatically become worse. Doubtful. Problems worsen when we do not face them. Many people, in order to avoid thinking about loneliness, fill their life with nameless, faceless, useless activities. The hope is to keep so busy that they do not have time to look inward. Not a bad idea, but no matter how good and productive the avoidance activities, there is no plan regarding overcoming the loneliness (or other problem). There is helter skelter avoidance, and perhaps that is the plan. But if it is the "plan," a better approach could be implemented.
